Bolivia - Asociación Nuevos Pasos

Nuevos Pasos Bolivia is part of our expansion projects, Joan Bel and Carmen Herrera were responsible in this country. The work of Nuevos Pasos in Bolivia started with the arrival of the Bel family in February 2009. The vision of work is very similar to that of Peru and the nuances needed for this country. Our goal is to reach at-risk children, helping them and training them through programs resilient to empower their lives, always in a context of faith.

We work as usual in a comprehensive manner taking into account the needs of children at risk. We reinforce the areas of education, health, nutrition, emotional and spiritual.

We have created a Children´s Room to help the neediest children. In this room and in other Nuevos Pasos programs work on the basis of resilience to adversity in which these children live, strengths that help them conquer their dreams. We campaign on medical canteens, schools, parents, and school reinforcement ar.

This is a project not yet started but that is part of our vision for Bolivia. We want to open during 2010 the training school to train men and women who want to work with children at risk. The student profile is of people between 20 and 50 who want to train foster parents in foster children as missionaries for children, or how to work with young leaders.

The course will last three months at most be done with the student and includes practical internship in Peru and Bolivia.

We are planning to open a school for children of extreme poverty, next year, if you want more information about this project, write to our mail. We are also forming a multidisciplinary team of brothers in the areas of administration, projects, and marketing who want to work in Nuevos Pasos Bolivia. Everything we do in Nuevos Pasos revolves around children. We understand that people are most important, and believe in the Creator of life and His love.
